Welcome to Gentle Musings, a publication about reconnecting with yourself, experiencing life as a creative practice, and living out loud. Gentle Musings is a reader-supported publication. To receive new posts and support this work, consider becoming a free or paid subscriber.
Here we are again, approaching the end of a month. One of my commitments this year was to offer a space for you to get some reflective writing in before each month’s end. The idea: thirty minutes of writing to guided prompts from the comfort of your own space, but also together with people from all over because of the power of the internet. I want to offer writing as a reliable, doable ritual to stay connected to what you need to stay connected to: softness, stability, beauty, resilience…
And so here we are, it’s almost time to gather again.

You’re invited to this Sunday’s Journaling Circle:
11:00am-11:30am EST on Zoom
There’s no reading out loud or breakout rooms. This is for you if you've never journaled before or if you journal every day.
If you can’t make it live, I post the journaling prompts on Sunday for you to write to on your own and revisit as you like.
Here are the last few to get a feel for what it’s like (or if you’re in the mood to journal right now!)
I keep these behind a paywall because the journaling circle financially supports my work as an artist and writer, and it's a perk for paid subscribers.
If you’d like to write to these prompts and join this Sunday’s Journaling Circle, or write to the prompts in your own time, please become a paid subscriber by clicking here:
If you’re already a paid subscriber, scroll to the bottom of this post to get the Zoom link.
